Karen Jarrett Trashes Kurt Angle On Twitter Claiming She Has “24 Years Of Dirt” On Ex-Husband
Karen Jarrett has addressed some things about her marriage to Kurt Angle in a social media rant that has her fired up about her ex-husband.
A music video aired on the December 28th edition of AEW Dynamite featuring the AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens). The majority of the video featured Caster rapping about their rivalry with the team of Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal.
Caster had this line about Jeff in his rap: “And you’re stealing money like you’re stealing Kurt’s wife.”
That was in reference to the former Karen Angle, who is now Karen Jarrett. She was married to Kurt Angle from 1998 to 2008 and during Kurt’s run in TNA, she also appeared on-screen with him. Kurt and Karen have a son and daughter together. The couple ended up divorcing and she married Jeff Jarrett in 2010. Jeff’s first wife Jill passed away from cancer in 2007.
The entire situation with Kurt, Karen and Jeff led to the two men feuding in TNA Wrestling as well. Angle has since remarried and had more children while it was believed that the families have been able to move on from their sordid past.
Following the song on AEW Dynamite, Karen Jarrett wasn’t happy about it by tweeting this: “Hey @TonyKhan your little boy @PlatinumMax thought he was cute and went somewhere he should have NEVER EVER gone. You and him have NO IDEA what you’ve gotten started…..”
Kurt Angle also tweeted about Caster’s rap following Dynamite, but he deleted the tweet. You can see it below.
Karen Jarrett fired off several tweets about her divorce from Angle noting that they were done long before she started seeing Jeff. Karen used hashtags of some women’s names in wrestling who she claims Kurt had affairs with. Some of those names are well-known in wrestling.
“We can start here… my marriage to Kurt was over LONG before Jeff and I started seeing each other. We were legally separated at the time Kurt signed with TNA living in different homes. We got back together and I tried to get over the affairs among other things that went on in our marriage. But obviously wasn’t able.”
“Funny and sad how all of that has been swept under the rug over all these years. Jeff didn’t steal me from anyone. #dawnmarie #kellikelli #deannesiden to name a few. Maybe Kurt will think twice before making threats, insulting/disrespecting my husband. I am done living in fear. I have 24 years of dirt I am ready to start unloading. I am done! #movingon.”

This morning, Karen also clarified on Twitter that what she tweeted was in response to Angle digging himself a hole offline, so it wasn’t something he said publicly.
“Those assuming those tweets were in response to another tweet. That is incorrect. Someone dug himself a hole off line. Maybe that will all be shared maybe it won’t. I do know I am done living in fear of the threats.”

While there was some belief that what Karen tweeted to Caster could be part of the AEW storyline, clearly what she’s writing about her ex-husband Kurt Angle are things that have bothered her for a long time and she wanted to make it public, so that’s what she did.
