Kane’s Bad Advice Cost Ex-WWE Star Millions Of Dollars

Kane

Kane was inarguably one of the most complex characters in WWE.

Real name Glenn Jacobs, he wrestled under different personas before becoming the Big Red Monster, which included Mike Unabomb, Isaac Yankem, DDS, and Fake Diesel.

He debuted as The Undertaker’s half-brother during the 1997 Badd Blood event during his Hell in a Cell match against Shawn Michaels.

The brothers then began an intense rivalry, which culminated in a singles match between them at WrestleMania XIV.

Since then, they’ve been rivals and teammates, pairing as The Brothers of Destruction.

After spending two years in the business, Jacobs retired Kane in 2018, due to it coinciding with his political aspirations of running as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

He continues as the current holder of the office.

During his years as a wrestler, Kane seemingly provided investment advice to talents backstage, one of whom was Justin Gabriel.

Gabriel recently appeared on the Wrestling Then And Now podcast, wherein he spoke highly about Glenn Jacobs while also recalling taking bad advice from the former World Champion.

Also, highly intelligent. I loved working with him, never had a bad moment with him. I think in 2013, I think the whole roster asked him…because, you know, he’s a highly educated guy. We all asked him if we should buy Bitcoin, and he said no, and, you know, now it’s like hundreds of thousands of…that’s the only memory that sticks out. [3:17 onwards]

Kane Reveals Plans About WWE Return

Kane’s last match in WWE was teaming up with The Undertaker to take on D-Generation X’s Shawn Michaels and Triple H at the 2018 Crown Jewel event.

He was one of the surprise entrants during the 2021 Royal Rumble match, and elimiated Dolph Ziggler and Ricochet before being eliminated by Damian Priest.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio recently, the 58-year-old revealed that he did not wish to get back into the squared circle again.

I don’t know about that, man. Oh man. Brother, we were just talking about athleticism and movement and keeping up with the pace of people nowadays. That may have left me behind, guys.
