Kairi Sane Decides WWE Women’s Champion At Crown Jewel

Kairi Sane made her presence felt at Crown Jewel in the WWE Women’s Championship match between IYO SKY and Bianca Belair.

IYO SKY won the WWE Women’s Title from Bianca Belair at SummerSlam when she cashed in her Money In The Bank contract moments after Belair had captured the title from Asuka.

That led to a spell off WWE television for The EST but when she returned to action, she only had one thing on her mind as she challenged SKY to put her championship on the line.

At Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, the two women clashed in a one-on-one match with the WWE Women’s Title on the line but the outcome left more questions than answers.

With Belair on the outside of the ring and IYO SKY distracting the referee, former NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane made her shock return to the company. Sane took out Belair on the outside of the ring which almost caused a countout loss. However, Bianca Belair was able to roll back into the ring but was nailed immediately by SKY’s impressive moonsault which gave the champion the win.

As Kairi Sane and IYO SKY celebrated in the ring, SKY’s Damage CTRL partner Bayley looked on in shock raising questions about the future of that group. Fans were reminded by Michael Cole on commentary that it was Bayley who attacked Kairi Sane back in 2020 which led to the Japanese star leaving the company.
