Jojo Offerman Shares Touching Tribute To Bray Wyatt On 1-Year Anniversary Of His Death

Bray Wyatt Jojo Offerman

Jojo Offerman has posted a touching tribute to the late, great Bray Wyatt on the anniversary of his death.

It was one year ago today on August 24, 2023 when we learned about the shocking death of WWE superstar Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt, who passed away at the age of 36 years old.

In the days that followed, it was reported that Bray Wyatt got COVID and the illness exacerbated Wyatt’s existing heart issues, which led to a fatal heart attack. Wyatt had seen doctors and there was optimism that he would be okay, but sadly he passed away while taking a nap. Doctors had given Wyatt an external heart defibrillator to wear, but he reportedly wasn’t wearing it when he passed away.

Bray Wyatt left behind four children. The first two are from his first marriage and he also had two more children with former WWE ring announcer Jojo Offerman, who Bray was engaged to at the time of his death. Bray and Jojo were going to get married in late 2023 as well.

Jojo Offerman shared this touching tribute to Windham on Instagram along with a photo of the couple.

It’s been 1 year. 365 days without you.

1 year since I last heard your voice. Since I last heard your laugh. Since I last kissed your living soul. I still remember the last thing you told me. I still remember the last kiss and the last “I love you” we had before you closed your eyes.

I’ll remember that day forever. The day my entire life changed. I miss you terribly Windham. The kids miss you terribly. There’s not a day that goes by without you on our mind. But I think I’m getting used to the fact that I’ll never quite be okay. I’ll never quite be the same. I’ll forever be missing the piece of me that left with you the day you died, And that’s okay.

I know how proud you are of the kids, everyday they’re more and more like you. I’ll forever be thankful to you for making me a mommy. I’ll forever be grateful for the love I was able to experience with you.

Today is a reminder of the worst day of my life, but also a reminder to never take anything for granted. Today, like everyday, I remember you Windham, and all that you were. We miss you and we love you and life will never be the same without you.

I love you, forever.

Braun Strowman Pays Tribute To Bray Wyatt

When former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman was introduced on the main roster about a decade, he was part of the Wyatt Family led by Bray Wyatt. In the years that followed, Wyatt was a mentor to Strowman and they also feuded as well.

There have been many people in WWE and pro wrestling who have paid tribute to Bray Wyatt as well on this anniversary of his death. Another man who paid tribute is Braun Strowman, who was one of Bray’s closest friends and a Godfather to one of Bray’s children.

On Instagram, Braun Strowman wrote: “Not a day goes by I don’t think about you.” There is also a video of the two men together.

While Bray Wyatt is no longer with us, WWE continues to pay tribute to him with the Wyatt Sicks group on the Raw brand. The group consists of Bray’s brother Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, original Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy and Nikki Cross.

Bo Dallas will be in action as Uncle Howdy this coming Monday on the August 26th edition of Raw when he faces Chad Gable in singles action.
