John Cena’s WWE Run Set To End
John Cena will surely be heading back to Hollywood, ending his stint in WWE as SAG-AFTRA agrees a deal to end the Hollywood strike.
John Cena has wound down his full-time WWE career over the last five years as his focus turns to building a career for himself in Hollywood. However, the glitz and glamour of the movie industry have been replaced by industrial disputes and strikes in recent months, shutting down productions as actors and writers have both fought for a fair deal.
The Writer’s Guild of America recently ended their strike but the Screen Actor’s Guild had remained on the picket line meaning Hollywood productions stayed shut down, until now.
Variety has reported that negotiators for SAG-AFTRA have agreed on a tentative deal to bring an end to their ongoing 118-day strike on the 9th of November 2023.
John Cena Can Go Back To Hollywood After WWE Run
John Cena recently explained that SAG had given its blessing for his WWE return during the strikes. However, Cena had also made clear that when the dispute was over, he’d be headed back to La-La-Land bringing his time in WWE to an end once again.
John Cena sought to win his first televised singles match in five years at Crown Jewel when he battled Solo Sikoa. But in the end, Sikoa won the bout, decimating Cena on his way back to the movie world.
