Former Rival Names The Best Part About John Cena’s WWE Career

John Cena

A former rival of John Cena has opened up about the best part of Cena’s WWE run.

Nic Nemeth was a part of the WWE roster during the majority of John Cena’s 23-year run on the main roster. Nemeth was known as Dolph Ziggler, and he had a memorable rivalry with Cena in the early 2010s as both men competed to be the best performers in the company.

Since Nemeth worked for WWE for so many years, he has extensive knowledge of what John Cena brought to the company over two decades.

While speaking with KVIA ABC-7, Nic Nemeth noted that the best part of John Cena’s WWE run was that he gave so much to the company, the fans, Make-A-Wish kids, and the wrestlers.

“I think a few years ago they (WWE) started calling him the greatest of all time and you got to go with it because he’s done so much, given back to so many different people.

There was this Attitude Era and almost nobody came out of it, and we had John, and we had to lean on John for so many different things for 15-20 years.

Having him go above and beyond, become an even bigger star to the world, but the best part to me is when he grants those wishes or when he comes back to WWE and gives back, or when he’s giving somebody advice behind the scenes.” (H/T Wrestltalk on X)

R-Truth Felt Appreciated Working With John Cena

This is the final year of John Cena’s in-ring career as a WWE superstar. Along the way, there have been two wrestlers who faced Cena twice: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and R-Truth.

In a recent interview, R-Truth expressed gratitude for getting to wrestle John Cena twice in Cena’s final year.

“I’m tickled pink, dog. I love it. It’s a humbling thing. I feel honored. I feel appreciated. I feel like a lot of fans know the history we’ve had. People have paid attention. There are so many things that go around with that. It’s hard to pick one good emotion out of it.”

Meanwhile, Bull Buchanan opened up about his tag team history with John Cena and how he never heard about the duo becoming Tag Team Champions together.
