John Cena Teaches Logan Paul A Lesson On WWE SmackDown Before Clash In Paris
John Cena cooked Logan Paul on the mic again this week on WWE SmackDown.
Logan Paul kicked off tonight’s episode of SmackDown to address his confrontation with John Cena last Friday and their highly anticipated match this Sunday at Clash in Paris.
The Maverick responded to Cena calling him a parasite, stating that he is a disruptor. The former United States Champion took credit for getting WWE on Netflix and ESPN. Meanwhile, he called the 17-time world champion a representation of the outdated institutionalized wrestling.
Paul added that it was laughable that Cena told him to bring his A game to Paris, vowing to push The Never Seen 17 to the limit. He promised to show the fans that he was the future of the Stamford-based company after beating the Leader of the Cenation this Sunday, ending his promo by saying that wrestling was changing and fans would have to change with it, or they would be left behind.

John Cena interrupted Logan Paul’s promo. He told The Maverick that he cannot do it alone, explaining to him that they would not have a show without the fans. He also added that fans would not be left behind as they set the pace and hold the key to whether he would join the WWE family and have a long career.
The Never Seen 17 told Paul that he sees so much potential in him. However, he told him that he was not a disruptor but a wanna be. The 48-year-old claimed he did what Paul is doing now 20 years ago.
Cena then moved to The Maverick’s claims that he put WWE on Netflix and ESPN, telling him that his influence has declined, giving proof by the 30-year-old being off the top 25 world influencers list. He advised his Clash in Paris opponent to face the fact that he did not bring his influence to WWE and is not there to save wrestling, but to save himself.
“Now at 30 years old, when you make the front page, it is for the wrong reasons… You’re influence is shrinking and you’re desperate and now you’re searching for a new revenue stream!”

The 48-year-old then offered Paul a teachable moment in respect in WWE as he left the ring to apologize to the kid he targeted during his heel run earlier this year in Belgium. When he returned to the ring, Cena told Paul that he asked for this match and had 24 hours to prepare because if he did not prove his worthiness, he would not save wrestling or ruin wrestling, wrestling would ruin him.
