John Cena Spotted In France Ahead Of WWE Backlash
John Cena was last seen in WWE on the night after WrestleMania 40 but could he be set for a huge return sooner than anyone thought?
John Cena made his presence felt at WrestleMania 40 as he took revenge following his Crown Jewel loss by putting Solo Sikoa through a table. That came as part of a wild sequence at the climax of the Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes match for the WWE Championship.
Cena also delivered an Attitude Adjustment to Roman Reigns but his own past soon came back to haunt him as he found himself face-to-face with The Rock. The Rock dropped his WrestleMania 28 & 29 opponent with a Rock Bottom before The Undertaker eventually dropped The Final Boss with a chokeslam.
On the Raw after WrestleMania, John Cena competed in his first Raw match in over five years as he teamed with the World Tag Team Champions The Awesome Truth in a win over The Judgment Day.
With Cena heading back to his career in Hollywood after his WWE cameo, it was not known when he’d be back in the ring. However, fans may have just got a big clue about his next move.
John Cena Enjoying Coffee In France
A fan took to social media to share a photo of themselves with John Cena at a coffee shop. The post was tagged with “#nicefrance” indicating that is where the image was taken. Nice is on the southern French coast so there is a chance that Cena is enjoying life on the French Riviera but it is also a five-hour drive away from DΓ©cines-Charpieu which is where Backlash takes place on the 4th of May.
John Cena made a surprise appearance in London at Money In The Bank in 2023 where he touted WrestleMania one day coming to the city. The London Mayor has recently expressed a desire to make that happen.
