John Cena Shocks Fans With NSFW Joke

John Cena

As long-time fans of John Cena know, the WWE icon is no stranger to getting a little bit spicy and a recent appearance on a talk show was no exception.

Before Cena became WWE’s answer to Superman, the star was finding his feet on SmackDown as the Dr. of Thuganomics, making his opponents the punchline to his raps week after week. Not shy of inviting a rival to “choke on deez nuts,” Cena really pushed the WWE envelope in the post-Attitude Era world when he unveiled his finisher as the F-U. Originally coined during his rivalry with Brock Lesnar – who finished people off with the F-5 – the move eventually became the Attitude Adjustment as the PG era took over.

Now John Cena was at it again while appearing on The One Show in the UK. Cena was there to promote his new movie Argylle with director Matthew Vaughn. They were joined on the couch by fellow guests Vicky McClure and Mark Stanley who were there to promote the new series of their TV show, Trigger Point.

McClure is best known for her roles in gripping UK crime drama Line of Duty and This Is England but has recently been the saviour of over-thirties in the UK as she and her husband are the brains behind Day Fever. The idea is a nightclub but during the day meaning that revellers can still party hard but be tucked up in bed at a reasonable hour.

John Cena Worries About Finishing Early

As McClure explained the concept, John Cena just had to make a quip about getting to come home early that seemed to just about get past the hosts as he said:

“I’ve always worried about finishing early, but now that I know there’s a whole group, it’s all good, it’s awesome.”

The comment received plenty of wry smiles and comments online but given it happened just before 7:30 pm, perhaps the hosts were wise to just gloss over the innuendo.

It was during this appearance that John Cena confirmed where he wants his final WWE match to take place although admitted that he doesn’t think he’d get to name his last opponent.
