John Cena Allegedly Set For Embarrassing Loss Before WWE Retirement
Things are not looking up for John Cena.
On November 10, he finally became a Grand Slam Champion by winning the Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio.
However, on the following WWE RAW episode, a rematch was finalized between the two for Survivor Series: WarGames.
Cena now has just 2 appearances remaining before he retires from wrestling on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII. A tournament is currently underway to determine his final opponent.
As for his penultimate bout against Mysterio, John Cena may be in for an embarrassing loss, according to Notsam Wrestling‘s Sam Roberts.
The WWE personality discussed the possibility on the latest episode of his podcast.
I think Dominik Mysterio is gonna beat John Cena. And based on where I see this tournament going, I think Cena is not going to beat the winner of this tournament. I think we’ve got two Cena matches left, and I think he’s gonna lose both of them. Based on that, it’s a hard pill to swallow.
Dominik Mysterio Pokes Fun At John Cena On WWE RAW
John Cena only has two appearances remaining—one for November 29 and another for December 13.
So, when his music played on the November 24 episode of RAW, viewers were surprised but excited nonetheless.
Their excitement, though, was short-lived, as a mini-John Cena showed up instead of the original one.
Obviously in on the prank, Dominik attacked the imposter and performed Cena’s trademark Five Knuckle Shuffle move before hitting him with a 619, followed by the Frog Splash.
Dominik’s father, Rey Mysterio, ran out for the save, driving his son out of the ring before he could inflict more damage.
