John Cena Reunites With WWE Legend Backstage At Raw
John Cena has reunited with an old friend after a historic night on WWE Raw.
If you’re meant to take it easy as you head towards retirement, nobody told John Cena. Cena has been part of the most chaotic and drama-filled years in his final twelve months as a WWE star that has so far shockingly see him turn heel and align with The Rock and Travis Scott, capture the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania, share the ring one last time with Randy Orton, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar, abandon his heel turn, and lose the WWE Title back to Cody Rhodes. But when Raw came to Boston, Cena had something else to accomplish.
With seemingly no end of titles to his name in WWE, there was one championship that always eluded him and stopped him from becoming a Grand Slam Champion. So when he made his final appearance in a WWE ring in his home state of Massachusetts, he set about putting that right.
The November 10th edition of Raw saw John Cena shockingly defeat Dominik Mysterio to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. That puts Cena in rarefied air along with the likes of WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, JBL, Edge, and Rey Mysterio in accomplishing that feat.
John Cena Joins Becky Lynch For Title Celebration
Taking to social media, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch shared a photo of herself and Cena together with their respective titles, writing:
Intercontinental championships. It’s a GOAT thing. We are the greatest wrestlers of all time. It’s not us saying it. Everybody says it. Sports Illustrated says it. Bleacher Report says it. HHH says it.

With Becky Lynch being the only woman in WWE to be recognised as a Grand Slam Champion who has also held the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title, who can argue with her?
