John Cena Hasn’t Really Retired, Says WWE Star
John Cena had his final match on December 13th, 2025, and it marked the end of an era.
The Champ worked hard every day for 23 years to become a legacy in the wrestling industry. While he has pivoted to Hollywood, he has always remained committed to WWE and the fans.
Cena faced Gunther in his final match and tapped out. It left the fans in shock and wasn’t the heroic ending many were hoping for. However, he seemed to be content with passing the torch to Gunther in the final moments.
Jey Uso made a wild claim about John Cena
Ahead of the final match, Never Seen 17 had already claimed multiple times that he would not return to the ring for another match after December 13th, 2025. He does not want to be the superstar who says he is retired and then returns for another match.
After his final match, Jackie Redmond interviewed other superstars. One of them was Jey Uso. He made the wild claim that The Champ is not really retired, which mirrored the emotions of the WWE Universe.
