John Cena is one of the most notable names in the pro-wrestling industry, and the most popular name in the WWE Universe.

His Farewell Tour is coming to an end on December 13th, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. His final opponent is being decided via a ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament, which is ongoing with full effect.

During the year, he became the first-ever 17-time world champion, held the Intercontinental Championship for the first time, and became the 25th overall Grand Slam Champion.

John Cena’s backstage attitude is not as “humble” as fans believe

While appearing on All Axxess Podcast, John Cena’s former tag team partner, David Otunga, claimed that while The Champ is humble with the fans, his backstage swagger is different. It isn’t exactly humble, but Otunga clarified that Cena has earned that.

You want the real answer? No. I mean, come on. He’s John Cena. I’m gonna be honest with you. Yes, he is that, but I mean, like, he’s not gonna be that way with me, with the boys in the locker room. With general people, oh yeah, of course, he’s humble. But, you know, he’s got a different swagger to him being John Cena, 16-time [sic] World Champion. That he’s earned.

Don’t take this out of context. He earned the right not to have to be humble around us in the locker room. But in general, yeah, of course, he’s still a nice, humble guy. But he would never be that way to us in the locker room.

John Cena has finished his final WWE RAW match on November 17th, 2025. He teamed up with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio.
