Joe Hendry Teases WWE Return
Joe Hendry has hinted that a swift return to WWE television could be on the cards.
The Scottish sensation has been the talk of the wrestling world in recent weeks and hit the headlines after making a shock debut in an NXT title shot battle royal on the 18th June edition of NXT.
The 36 year-old was quickly eliminated by rival Frankie Kazarian but made quite the impression in the process, with the ‘X’ post containing video of his surprise appearance drawing over 17m views to date, making it WWE’s most viewed post of 2024 so far.
Hendry looks poised to capitalise on momentum built after his entrance theme I Believe in Joe Hendry became a huge hit, entering the charts at number 4 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart on May 3rd and number 6 on the official UK sales chart.
‘The Prestigious One’ visited the UK on the 21st-23rd June to compete for Burning Heart Pro Wrestling and posted a photograph on ‘X’ from the Swansea leg of the tour, cheekily hinting at an appearance at the upcoming NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event, set to emanate from Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on 7th July:
“Swansea is beautiful today. It’s an absolute Heatwave!”
