Jimmy Uso Says Naomi’s Pregnancy Is Bittersweet
Jimmy Uso’s wife, Naomi, officially announced her pregnancy on August 18, 2025, during an emotional segment on Monday Night Raw.
The announcement came as a surprise to fans and the WWE Universe, especially since it occurred just a little over a month after Naomi won the WWE Women’s World Championship by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution 2025.
After revealing she was expecting her first child with husband Jimmy Uso, Naomi made the difficult decision to relinquish her Women’s World Championship title to focus on her pregnancy and upcoming motherhood. This step marked a pause in what had been a highly successful year for her, as she had been riding a wave of momentum with strong performances and major wins before the pregnancy news.
Jimmy Uso and Naomi Are Adjusting to the Challenges of Parenthood
Jimmy Uso gave insight into his and Naomi’s feelings about the pregnancy during an interview with Sean Ross Sapp ahead of the Wrestlepalooza event. He described the situation as “very bittersweet.”
While happy and excited about the baby on the way, Jimmy Uso explained it was challenging for Naomi to put her incredible WWE career on hold just as she was being recognized as one of the best in the women’s division.
He highlighted the adjustments Naomi had to make in her mindset, pace, and physical routine while adapting to this new chapter in life. Despite the bittersweet nature of stepping away, they were taking each day at a time and remaining thrilled about the future addition to their family.
“Very bittersweet. Very bittersweet. All you named off, and it was a great weekend. We’re seeing her as the best. So, to put everything on a halt on her career because we’re pregnant now. So, it was very bittersweet, man. Every day she’s getting used to it. You got to think different, the pace change, the mentality change, physical change. So every day we take it one day at a time. We still in awe, but we still excited as hell.” [H/T Fightful]
