Jimmy Uso Confesses Crush On Recently Returned Female WWE Star
Jimmy Uso was a recent guest alongside Naomi on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story” podcast.
One of the topics that the stars spoke about was veteran stars thriving in WWE. That’s when Trish Stratus’s name came up, and Jimmy Uso didn’t hold back, revealing the WWE Hall of Famer as his first major crush.
He credited her as the only poster his mother ever let him have on his bedroom wall, saying that she wasn’t just his first crush, but probably the first for “80% of the male population here on Earth.” He praised her drive, saying that her current success gives him motivation to keep pushing forward.
Hers was the only poster my mama allowed me to have – my first poster in my room… Trish [Stratus] was the first one I was allowed to have. [Stephanie McMahon: Trish was your first crush?] All of us. Probably 80% of the male population here on Earth… She is killing, and it gives us motivation to keep going. (29:48 – 30:30)
Trish Stratus returned at the 2025 Royal Rumble to mark her 25th anniversary. She went on to compete at Evolution 2, the all-women’s premium live event on July 13, 2025, facing WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a match that showcased her energy and resilience.
Although she didn’t win the championship, she drew a standing ovation, with fans and critics lauding her for wrestling at a high level even after more than two decades in the business. At 49, Stratus continues to defy expectations, inspiring both seasoned wrestlers and newcomers alike.
Rikishi Has High Hopes For Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso is a popular star in WWE’s SmackDown brand, but he hasn’t been able to garner as much momentum as his twin brother has in Monday Night RAW. But Hall of Famer Rikishi has made it clear he believes in Jimmy Uso’s singles future.
Speaking at The Wrestling Classic, Rikishi admired Jimmy Uso’s natural charisma and encouraged him to tackle challenges outside the tag team format. He also acknowledged the risk in striking out alone, but believes his son’s unique personality and energy are winning fans over organically.
I always say Big Jim is a talented guy. He’s a very talented kid, one of my sons. In due time, I think Big Jim is going to find his way out there and win the hearts into the fans. I mean, he’s already done but to be able to see the boys get off and do their own deals as single competitors. You know, as a wrestler, it’s a challenging feeling, but it’s a feeling that you must try, right?
Because, you don’t want to be that guy that ‘we’re popular as a tag team’, but now, as pro wrestlers, you want to venture out there and you want to try. If it flops, then that’s what it is. But if not, you never know. I can say this, YEET organically just became popular. It wasn’t like they put fire up underneath YEET to make him be that. Right? So you know, there it is. We’ll see what Big Jim has in the future.
