Jim Cornette Blasts Former WWE Star: “I’m Ashamed Of You”
Jim Cornette tells a wrestler who supports Donald Trump: “Forget that you ever knew me.”
The legendary wrestling manager/promoter Jim Cornette is busy hosting a popular podcast/wrestling radio show these days. Fans of Cornette know him to be brash when it comes to his opinions on the pro wrestling business. That brashness is the same reason why some people don’t like Cornette.
It’s an election year in the United States, which means that certain people are voicing their opinions about who they are voting for. Hulk Hogan has made it clear he is supporting his “hero” Donald Trump to become the President of the United States again while others back the current President Joe Biden, who may or may not back out of the race due to his age.
Former WWE superstar Nick Dinsmore aka Eugene crossed paths with Hogan during his career. Dinsmore referenced his Hogan fandom again while showing his support for Trump on Twitter/X.
Eugene has NEVER been more proud to be a @HulkHogan fan! @realDonaldTrump #Trumpamaniacs
Jim Cornette Tells Eugene: “I’m Ashamed Of You”
That comment from Dinsmore/Eugene fired up Jim Cornette, who didn’t mince words on Twitter/X by telling Dinsmore to forget that he even knows Cornette.
Nick, “Eugene” is a gimmick. You went to school, you know what an unfit piece of filth you’re endorsing, that means you think there’s something in it for you to advocate for a despicable lying wretch. Please forget you ever knew me, I’ll do the same for you. I’m ashamed of you.

Fans of WWE will remember Cornette was there for most of the 1990s as a manager, announcer and a member of the creative team.
Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore was also in WWE from 2004 to 2007 and was praised for portraying the Eugene character in a way that made him a memorable character in that era.
