Jim Cornette Reveals AEW Dynamite Plans

Jim Cornette

Jim Cornette has responded to recent comments from Jeff Jarrett.

On the latest edition of his My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett said he’d “love” to have Jim Cornette at AEW Dynamite. The subject came up after his co-host Conrad Thompson cheekily asked whether Jarrett would be picking up Cornette on the way to the upcoming taping in Louisville.

The comments raised eyebrows online as Cornette has been a consistent critic of AEW and many of the company’s top stars. Even in recent months, the legendary manager has repeatedly spoken in favour of CM Punk after he clashed with Jack Perry and Tony Khan.

Jim Cornette Won’t Be Heading To AEW Dynamite

Unsurprisingly, the comments from Jarrett quickly made their way across social media to Cornette. However, it doesn’t seem like the manager-turned-podcaster has any interest in making the trip to the taping, sharing the following cutting reply:

“I appreciate the invitation from @RealJeffJarrett to attend the @AEW TV taping in Louisville tomorrow–I tried hard to make it work, but I couldn’t find another person in town going so we could split the 2 for 1 ticket offer. But maybe they can find another ratings ploy in time.”

Although Jim Cornette won’t be in attendance, some of AEW’s biggest stars will be in action on Dynamite. It’s already been announced that Orange Cassidy will defend the International Title against Claudio Castagnoli, while Bullet Club Gold will take on MJF and three partners of his choosing.

MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship at Full Gear on November 18th.
