Only One Way Jey Uso Could Become WWE World Champion Again

Jey Uso

Jey Uso needs to do better to become a world champion in WWE again.

Uso won his first world title in WWE at WrestleMania 41 when he beat Gunther. But in June, he lost the title back to The Ring General in a rematch. Since then, he’s been failing to regain the gold, despite coming very close multiple times.

His recent unsuccessful attempt at recapturing the World Heavyweight Championship came at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 10, where he failed in a singles match against CM Punk.

What Does Jey Uso Have To Do To Become A World Champion Again?

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T weighed in on Jey Uso and his future in WWE. He acknowledged that Uso is a hard worker. But he needs to up his game more if he wants to be a world champion in WWE again.

Booker T said, “Jey Uso, I think he’s solidified in that position, but he’s gonna have to work his a** off to get back to the World Championship. That’s what I’m talking about as far as being in shape; he can’t rest on his laurels. He can’t think that one World Heavyweight Championship is just gonna be guaranteed for him to go back to that spot ever again, that’s not the way it works.”

“That’s why I say he’s gonna have to put in some work, and that’s just my humble personal opinion, and he knows I love him more than anything, and he knows I wouldn’t be saying that if it wasn’t true,” he added.

As we are heading towards Survivor Series, WWE, for now, has put a halt to his World title chase angle as he’s set to team up with the WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to take on The Vision (Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker) and Logan Paul in the upcoming WarGames match on November 29.
