Jey Uso Claims “I’m Out” Of The Bloodline, Teases Match With Roman Reigns

Jey Uso has gone to social media to react to the dramatic ending to the Royal Rumble event that saw some members of The Bloodline finally turn on Sami Zayn.

Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens at Saturday’s Royal Rumble Premium Live Event to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a match that Owens could have won, but unfortunately the referee was knocked down when Owens was pinning Reigns. The tide turned when the referee woke up and Reigns beat Owens with a Spear while The Bloodline’s Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman watched from ringside.

After the match, Reigns decided that beating Owens in a match wasn’t enough. That led to Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) and Solo Sikoa attacking Owens. The Usos delivered the 1D while Solo hit a running hip attack against a chair that was around KO’s neck. Heyman handed Reigns and The Usos handcuffs, so they handcuffed Owens’ arms to the ropes. The Usos delivered about a dozen superkicks to Owens as well.

When Reigns wanted to hit Owens with a chair, Zayn stood in the way. That led to Reigns telling Zayn to do it himself, but Zayn didn’t want to do that either. When Reigns turned his back, Zayn hit Reigns in the back with a steel chair and the Alamodome exploded in cheers for Zayn hitting Reigns with the chair! Jey wondered what Sami was doing while Jimmy hit Sami with a superkick.

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa beat up Zayn with Reigns approving of that, but Jey Uso decided not to join in. Jey was standing corner by himself. When Reigns looked at him, Jey left the ring because he was conflicted about it and the fans cheered Jey’s refusal to attack Zayn. Jey walked away by himself while Reigns, Jimmy and Solo beat up Zayn some more.

There’s a long history between Zayn and Jey Uso in The Bloodline storyline with Jey not willing to accept Zayn as an Honorary Uce until Sami proved his loyalty to the group at the WarGames match last November. Last Monday on the January 23rd episode of Raw, Jey made it clear that he loves Zayn like a brother and defended him while Zayn was “on trial” with The Bloodline.

On Instagram, Jey Uso posted “I’m out” along with a red blood drop meaning he claims he is out of The Bloodline because of what they did to his friend Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble.

On his Instagram story, Jey shared a picture of himself walking away at the Royal Rumble along with a photo of his cousin Roman Reigns. Jey put the words “Run It Back” on the photos. What he’s likely referring to is his 2020 rivalry with Reigns that led multiple matches that Reigns won while making Jey “acknowledge” Reigns as his Tribal Chief.

Tune in to WWE television this coming week to see what the next step is in this compelling storyline featuring The Bloodline, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

The next WWE Premium Live Event is in less than three weeks on February 18th when the Elimination Chamber heads to Montreal. It’s the hometown of Zayn and Owens, so they should have a lot of fan support behind them.
