Jey Uso teamed up with his cousin Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

The duo has shared a volatile history, often butting heads during their time in The Bloodline, of which Reigns was the leader.

It resulted in Uso’s patience running out, as he betrayed Reigns on the June 16, 2023, episode of SmackDown.

Over the next two years, Jey Uso primarily competed as a singles athlete, even winning the World Heavyweight Championship in the process.

On the June 14, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, the cousins reunited after Reigns saved Uso and CM Punk from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

It culminated in a tag team match as the cousins challenged Breakker and Reed on Night 1 of SummerSlam.

They showed incredible camaraderie, with Reigns even biting the bullet by saving Jey Uso from a Bron Breakker Spear.

Jey and Reigns ultimately won after the former hit Reed with the Uso Splash for the 1-2-3.

Jey Uso Elaborates On His Stand With Roman Reigns

Many members of the WWE Universe were skeptical when Reigns invited Jey Uso to ally against ‘The Brons.’

Uso, however, accepted the offer, and things look rosy between the cousins.

During the SummerSlam Post-Show, Jey was asked about whether he had put all the drama of the past with Reigns behind him.

Uso was clear in his response, explaining his stand.

Family thing, Uce. I said it tonight, man. It’s a family thing. We run in WWE regardless of what’s going on, you know what I’m saying? My family’s No. 1, bruh. First family in this thing. Royal family. [22:05 onwards]

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns echoed Jey’s sentiments in a post he shared on X.
