Jesse Ventura’s WWE Return Confirmed

Vince McMahon & Jesse Ventura in WWE

Jesse Ventura is back.

On December 14th, WWE will bring back Saturday Night’s Main Event for the first time since 2008.

At the event, Cody Rhodes will put his Undisputed WWE Title on the line against Kevin Owens, while Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor. The company will also crown the first Women’s United States Champion, and Liv Morgan will put the Women’s Title on the line against Iyo Sky.

It’s now been confirmed that Jesse Ventura will return to the announce desk in Uniondale, New York. Ventura was a central part of the specials back in the 1980s and he recently signed a Legends deal with the company. The former Governor of Minnesota has since suggested Vince McMahon’s departure paved the way for his own return.

Jesse Ventura To Be Joined By Hulk Hogan?

On December 5th it was reported that Hulk Hogan could be set for a return to WWE television. The report noted that WWE is looking to pay homage to the first-ever Saturday Night’s Main Event back in 1985 which saw Hogan successfully defend the World Title against Cowboy Bob Orton.

Following reports that Jimmy Hart is set to appear on the show, it’s perhaps logical to conclude that Hogan will also be involved.

During an interview back in September, Hulk Hogan revealed he’d signed a new five-year contract with WWE. The comments surprised many as Hogan had been met with split reactions during many of his most recent appearances.
