Jeff Jarrett Debuts New Back-Up On Dynamite

Jeff Jarrett

Trouble has come to AEW and it revealed itself to FTR as Jeff Jarrett’s wife Karen Jarrett debuted on Dynamite in Austin, Texas.

Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal have a problem with FTR and that problem is Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are the proud holders of the AEW Tag Team Championship. At Double Or Nothing, the Top Guys will put the gold on the line against Jarrett and Lethal with Mark Briscoe – who has been caught in the middle of the feud – acting as special guest referee.

Briscoe found himself trying to be peacemaker with the rival teams but ended up with an inadvertent piledriver for his trouble courtesy of Harwood after the FTR man was blinded by alcohol spat in his face by the meddlesome Sonjay Dutt.

Not only will FTR have to contend with the combined might of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in the ring, but they also have to worry about Dutt and the massive Satnam Singh as well as a referee who might be none too pleased with being dropped on his head. Yet, somehow, on Dynamite, things got even worse for Harwood and Wheeler.

With Jarrett’s group making its way to the ring, FTR attacked, shoving Singh off the stage and taking the fight to the WWE Hall of Famer and Lethal. With Jarrett about to be hoisted up for the Shatter Machine, Karen Jarrett made her presence felt as she dropped Cash Wheeler with a low blow. That allowed Double J to hit Dax Harwood with The Stroke and stand tall.

Karen Jarrett is no stranger to the ring or TV having been part of TNA previously and even teaming with her husband to take on her ex-husband Kurt Angle and Chyna at Sacrifice in 2011.
