Janel Grant’s Lawyer Fires Back At New Filing From Vince McMahon

A lawyer for Janel Grant has come out fighting against Vince McMahon.

On April 23rd, Vince McMahon and his legal team filed a “motion to compel arbitration of Plaintiff Janel Grant’s Complaint.” McMahon and his team write that the NDA agreed to by himself and Grant contained an arbitration clause meaning the dispute should go to private arbitration.

In the filing McMahon hit back at Grant, describing her complaint as “salacious, false, and defamatory,” before referencing her “outrageous claims of sexual abuse.” The filing claims the allegations are “pure fiction.”

The document adds that “allegations and claims will be disproven” and Grant will be “exposed for the liar that she is.”

For the avoidance of doubt, however, Defendant vehemently and categorically denies all allegations of wrongdoing in the Complaint, including Plaintiff’s outrageous claims that Defendant coerced Plaintiff into unwanted sexual acts, sexually assaulted and/or battered her, trafficked her, and defecated on her.

Those are false statements intended for publicity. When the Complaint’s allegations are adjudicated in the proper forum (arbitration), witnesses are called to testify under oath, and all communications between the Parties (including those authored by Plaintiff which she intentionally did not share in her Complaint) are produced, the allegations and claims will be disproven and Plaintiff will be exposed for the liar she is.

McMahon also denies that Grant was grieving the loss of her parents when they met in 2019.

“Vince McMahon Has Never Known A Storyline He Doesn’t Twist”

In a statement issued to POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics, Janel Grant’s attorney Ann Callis hit back at the claims made in the filing. Callis dismissed claims made by McMahon about Grant’s relationship with her father.

“Vince McMahon has never known a storyline that he doesn’t twist to fit his own shameful narrative.

Her father was in in-home hospice during his final days where Janel continued to care for him around the clock. Prior to his death, she had been caring for her blind, wheelchair-bound mother.

Using the grief of someone who lost both of her parents is an all new level of disgusting.”

On January 25th former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.

John Laurinaitis continues to deny the allegations, claiming via his lawyer that he’s also a victim of McMahon.
