Jake Roberts Returns Backstage At AEW
WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts has returned to AEW as he gives his fans a positive update on his current health situation.
Jake Roberts joined AEW in March 2020, confronting Cody Rhodes and warning The American Nightmare that he had a man in mind to take out Rhodes. The following week it was revealed that the man in question was Lance Archer who joined Roberts at ringside.
At that year’s Double Or Nothing, Archer and Rhodes met in the finals of a tournament to crown the inaugural TNT Champion with Rhodes coming out as the winner.
Since then Jake Roberts has frequently been at the side of The Murderhawk Monster and was again when he challenged Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Title in early 2022. However, health issues meant that recently Roberts had to take time away from the company due to his need for oxygen – Roberts suffers from COPD.
However, taking to social media, Jake The Snake informed the world the good news that he was both back at AEW and permanently off oxygen:
“Off oxygen for good!! Standing tall doing great. At AEW AGAIN!! Sweet life I’m living!!”
