Jade Cargill Fires Back At Critics After WWE Women’s Championship Win
The Jade Cargill era has begun.
Big things were expected when Jade Cargill signed with WWE in September 2023, but her rise to the top of the women’s division hasn’t been straightforward.
While she’d appeared in high-profile spots and won tag team gold, a major singles championship had eluded her. However, she put that right in dominant style at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
On the special, Cargill smashed her way through Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a little over five minutes. The violent and crushing conclusion came after two huge Powerbombs and a Jaded, leaving Stratton’s 302-day reign in the dust.

Following her victory, Cargill wasted little time in taking aim at those who have doubted her along her WWE journey to date. With her championship in hand, the former AEW star now just wants the respect she feels she deserves.

Elsewhere at Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk overcame Jey Uso to become World Heavyweight Champion for the second time. The title had been declared vacant after Seth Rollins was forced to undergo surgery on a major shoulder injury.
According to the latest update from Rollins, he’s expected to be out for around six months.
