Jacob Fatu’s Brother Drops Massive Clue About Mystery WWE Attacker
Jacob Fatu was attacked on WWE SmackDown last month.
On the October 17 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Samoan Werewolf was scheduled to have a singles match against Drew McIntyre to determine the number 1 contender for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Undisputed Championship. But before the match could even take place, he was attacked backstage by a mystery assailant, who left him bloody and brutalized.
There was heavy speculation that The Scottish Warrior was behind the mystery attack, but he denied all allegations against him. Some people even pointed fingers at Cody Rhodes, but he, too, denied it. That said, Jacob Fatu’s brother, Journey Fatu, recently talked to Muscle Man Malcolm, where he dropped a potential clue about who might be behind Fatu’s mystery attack. Journey hinted it might be someone close to Jacob who did it.
“I mean, really, we had FaceTime earlier that day, and he was talking about his stomach was hurting, and I was like, ‘Where did you go eat at?’ He was like Waffle House… Sometimes it be the people closest to you,” he said.

Jacob Fatu Might Not Make It To Survivor Series 2025
WWE crafted the mystery attack angle for Jacob Fatu on SmackDown because he needed some time off for a dental procedure. It was said that he’d be back in time for Survivor Series. According to reports, WWE wanted either him or LA Knight to team up with CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and The Usos for the upcoming WarGames match this year. However, Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Radio isn’t sure he will be back in time for the PLE on November 29 in San Diego, California.
Punk, Roman Reigns, The Usos on that team, probably with LA Knight as the other guy. Jacob [Fatu] was supposed to be in it [WarGames match] but he’s just had his surgery so it depends if he’s okay by the end of the month.
