It’s Official! Gunther To Battle Another WWE Legend After John’s Cena & Goldberg
WWE star Gunther had been on a brutal spree last year, and he retired two legends of the promotion, beating them in the final match of their legendary careers.
He beat Goldberg in July of last year during an edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, before retiring John Cena during December’s edition of the same event.
He is now set to follow up his iconic match with John Cena against another legendary wrestler of the company and was booked in a first-time match against a retiring WWE legend.
AJ Styles set to take on Gunther next week on WWE RAW
Gunther was disrespecting John Cena once again on tonight’s episode of RAW when AJ Styles interrupted him during his segment. He slapped Gunther and left him humiliated in the ring.

Following their segment, Gunther and AJ got into a heated argument backstage as the Ring General asked Adam Pearce for a match against Styles and it was made official for next week’s episode of RAW.
