Injured WWE Star To Resume In-Ring Training Soon
One injured WWE star is ready to make the next step to getting back in the ring.
Nikkita Lyons caused something of a sensation when she burst onto the scene in WWE as part of the NXT brand back in early 2022. She most recently competed on the edition of NXT Level Up which aired on the 20th of January 2023 defeating Jakara Jackson but has been out of action with a serious injury ever since.
Taking to social media back in January, Lyons revealed that she had torn her ACL and meniscus in her knee, meaning she’d be on the shelf for quite some time:
“ACL & Meniscus are torn. This comeback is personal. Thank you to all who consistently show love & genuine support. it means the to me. Those of you who don’t see the vision, thank you too. Stay ya a** right there. This is just another lesson life needed to teach. Love.”
Nikkita Lyons appeared on the 21st of February edition of NXT television where she revealed that the injury will keep her out of action for around 11-12 months. Lyons was then interrupted by Tiffany Stratton who warned her that if Stratton had got hold of her, she’d be out of action permanently.
Nikkita Lyons had a tough start to her WWE career
Taking to social media, Nikkita Lyons seemed in a happier mood as she noted that she “gets to start training in the ring again soon” as she works towards her return to WWE television once again.
This is the second knee injury Nikkita Lyons has suffered so far in her WWE career. She suffered a partial MCL tear and an MCL sprain back in May 2022, which only kept her out of the ring for around a month.
