Injured AEW Star Teases Dynamite Return
One of the most unique wrestlers in AEW is set to make a return to the ring following a lengthy injury layoff.
At the AEW Revolution PPV back in March, Danhausen suffered a very serious and very evil injury. Danhausen was in a four-team tag team match with Orange Cassidy against the AEW Tag Team Champions The Gunns, The Acclaimed and Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett. While Danhausen put up a fight, he also took the pinfall when The Gunns hit their finishing move to retain the titles.
Shortly after AEW Revolution, Danhausen revealed he had suffered a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery. When announcing the injury, Danhausen encouraged the fans to “boo The Ass Boys” (Austin & Colten Gunn aka The Gunns) and swore revenge on them.
Danhausen even posted visual proof of the gruesome injury.

A torn pectoral muscle is something that many big-name wrestlers have had in the past such as John Cena and Edge (Adam Copeland). Cody Rhodes also had a torn pectoral muscle in June 2022 and would miss the rest of the year rehabbing it.
Danhausen is ready to make his return to AEW
Over the past several weeks, AEW has shown videos promoting a Danhausen return. They haven’t mentioned when he’s going to return, but the man who loves curses provided a bit of a clue on social media.
When Danhausen reacted to a brief video that aired on AEW Collision on Saturday, he included a photo of a bridge in Louisville, Kentucky. What’s interesting about that is that this week’s Dynamite and Rampage tapings on November 1st will take place from the KFC Yum Center in Louisville.

The timeline for coming back from a torn pectoral muscle injury is anywhere from six to eight months, so the “very evil” return of Danhausen could come one night after Halloween on Dynamite.
