Injured AEW Star Close To Return

AEW

With AEW Collision on the horizon, there is perhaps no better time to be coming back from a serious injury and that is exactly what one star in the company is on the verge of doing.

Collision has already touted several headliners for its show with absent stars such as Miro, Andrade El Idolo, Thunder Rosa, Scorpio Sky, and Samoa Joe featuring in publicity for the new show.

The cornerstone for the Saturday night show is now in place with Tony Khan confirming that CM Punk will return to AEW on the debut edition of Collision on June 17th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Now Fightful Select has reported that another long-time absent name is due to return shortly but their absence was down to a nasty injury. Leyla Hirsch tore her ACL back in April 2022 in a match on AEW Dark Elevation that was abandoned as a result of the injury.

Hirsch is said to have been in the ring recently preparing for an eventual return that could be coming very soon. Prior to getting hurt, Leyla Hirsch was most notable for her feud with Kris Statlander, who also recently returned to the company after a long lay-off to capture the TBS Title in stunning fashion from Jade Cargill at Double Or Nothing.
