“I’m Done” – The Undertaker Apologizes To WWE Fans

The Undertaker has issued an apology to WWE fans for some of the things he did during his illustrious career.

It was five years ago at Survivor Series 2020 when WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker officially retired as a wrestler, 30 years after he made his debut as one of the scariest wrestlers ever.

Even though The Undertaker spent most of his career as a babyface, there were many years when he was a heel, and when he was in that role, he was as mean and scary as it gets.

During an episode of his “Six Feet Under” podcast, a clip of which was shared on Instagram, The Undertaker and his wife, Michelle McCool, answered some fan questions. McCool read a comment from a fan wondering if Taker could apologize for scaring the fan when they were a kid. The fan was terrified of the Deadman as a kid.

McCool: “So can you please apologize to the people?”

Taker: “No!”

McCool: “Why?”

Taker: “That’s my job.”

McCool: “Not anymore. There’s like behind the curtain. You just said you got tickled. I mean..”

Taker: “Yeah, it’s over isn’t it?”

McCool: “It’s over.”

Taker: “I’m done.”

McCool: “He’s sorry, guys.”

Taker: “I apologize.”

McCool: “He’s sorry.”

Taker: “You know, goodness gracious I just…I shouldn’t have scared all those people.”

The exchange was a bit tongue-in-cheek, of course, but The Undertaker is done scaring people like that fan who was terrified of the Deadman as a kid.

The Undertaker Addressed His Critics

While speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, which he hosts with his wife, Michelle McCool, The Undertaker addressed the rumors that he used his backstage influence to help his wife get a push during her career.

“I think as equally as proud of my wrestling accolades is the way that I’ve been perceived and the way that my peers respect me, and at the end of the day, that’s really all that matters to me.

I have a very, very small inner circle of people that I actually care what they think of me. The people that are in the locker room, the guys that I shared the dressing room with, I care about what they think.

I’m pretty sure if you ask 99.5% of the guys that I’ve ever been in a dressing room with or worked in a territory with, they’re going to tell you that as much clout as I supposedly have, or even if I do, I never, ever would have used it for that kind of crap.

It’s absurd that people get on the internet and can use words like ‘reliable sources’ and this and that, and everybody believes it. I’m not going to give anybody that kind of satisfaction of me having to explain myself…

Anybody that doesn’t believe any of that, they can all line up single file, I’ll bend over and then line up and kiss my ass. That’s just the way it is.”

In addition to podcasting together, the husband-wife team of The Undertaker and Michelle McCool are also coaches on WWE LFG’s second season.
