Hulk Hogan’s Cause Of Death Confirmed
A confirmation has been released about Hulk Hogan’s cause of death.
On July 24, TMZ broke the news that the former WWE Champion had died after suffering a cardiac arrest, aged 71.
Page Six has now officially confirmed that the cause behind the Hulkster’s passing was an acute myocardial infarction, also called a heart attack.
The tabloid also stated that the report revealed Hogan’s history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), a heart condition wherein an individual experiences an irregular and rapid heart rate.
The records also showed Hulk Hogan having previously suffered from leukemia, CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells.
After reports of the wrestling legend’s death surfaced, fans and peers from the wrestling community, including Triple H, Ric Flair, and Vince McMahon, paid tributes.
Hulk Hogan Received Multiple Tributes In WWE
There is no doubt about Hulk Hogan’s contributions to WWE during his multiple stints with the Stamford promotion.
Joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1983, he took the industry by storm, even headlining WrestleMania on various occasions.
He worked for WCW between 1994 and 2000, before returning to WWE in 2002 and later, from 2005 to 2007.
In these times, he was involved in interesting feuds with the likes of The Rock, Vince McMahon, and Shawn Michaels.
Since his passing, Hulk Hogan has received numerous tributes worldwide, with WWE contributing with its share on all three brands – RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
On these shows, he was given a 10-bell salute with the respective roster appearing on the stage.
Even AEW acknowledged Hogan’s death at Collision.
