Huge WWE Legend Declines Return Offer
A major WWE legend has turned down an offer to return to the Stamford-based company.
Gail Kim initially joined WWE in 2002. She had a two-year run, during which she held the Women’s Championship for 27 days. Nevertheless, she was released from her contract in November 2004.
After wrestling for a few years in TNA, Kim returned to the Stamford-based company in 2008. Her second stint lasted three years before she quit the promotion.
The 48-year-old then returned to TNA, where she became the first female to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. She also worked as a backstage producer before getting fired from the promotion earlier this year.
Gail Kim Refused To Make A WWE Comeback
After she departed from TNA, Gail Kim was reportedly backstage for some NXT shows. Reports even suggested that WWE was interested in re-signing the former Women’s Champion.
During a Q&A, Kim recently confirmed that she had indeed received an offer from the Stamford-based company. However, she had to turn it down.
I had to decline the offer unfortunately…. Sucks but had to.
