Huge Grudge Match Added For NXT Deadline

NXT Gold Rush 2025 had some exciting matches and memorable moments for the fans throughout the two-week-long event. The weekly special even saw a major title change hands.

During the first week of the event, Tatum Paxley lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Jacy Jayne on the show after her stablemates in The Culling turned on her. Izzi Dame attacked Tatum during her match, which led to her losing the title.

Dame came out with Shawn Spears and Niko Vance and explained why she turned on Tatum two weeks earlier, before she announced a huge match for the upcoming event.

Izzi Dame vs Tatum Paxley announced for NXT Deadline

Izzi Dame was out in the ring where she explained that she gave Dame everything she had. Her and The Culling provided everything to Tatum but that still wasn’t enough for her and that’s what made Izzi turn on her former friend.

She even stated that she helped Tatum win the title in the first place, so she took the title away from her as well. She then informed the NXT fans that a match between the two has been made official for Deadline.

Following this statement, Tatum showed up on the titantron and claimed that she is scared of what she’ll do to Izzi at Deadline as she vowed to make her hurt as much as she’s hurting right now.
