Huge Celebrity Wants Full-Time WWE Run

Triple H WWE Smackdown

Celebrities have often been a part of WWE’s premium live events, especially WrestleMania and SummerSlam. The idea behind celebrity matches is to bring more eyes to the product.

The Stamford-based promotion brought in two celebrities during 2025, Travis Scott and Jelly Roll.

Among the two of them, only Jelly Roll took part in a full-fledged match at SummerSlam 2025.

Jelly Roll gives his reason for wanting a full-time WWE run

Roll made his debut ahead of SummerSlam 2025 and struck up a rivalry with Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. At the premium live event, he teamed up with Randy Orton to take on The Scottish Warrior and The Maverick in a tag team match.

While Roll and Orton did not win the match, Roll put up a great performance that may have urged WWE to consider him for a longer role.

During his conversation with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, he spoke about his brief WWE stint and further revealed that he would like to do more with the global juggernaut.

I don’t know. I don’t really know what I want, I just know that I need to. A dream scenario is, I’d like to get involved for a run. I’d like to wrestle every Friday. I’d like to get involved for a six to nine-month run. I definitely have to do one more. It’s like anything else in life, you do once and you think you were prepared, but you leave there and all I could think about was everything I could have done a little better.

Jelly Roll had previously revealed that he specifically requested to be the one to endure defeat at SummerSlam 2025 because he wanted the outcome of a celebrity match to be different. Usually, celebrities pick the win, but he wanted to change the narrative.
