Huge AEW Tag Team Title Match Set For July 15th Collision

It may well be a case of fighting (at) the rodeo for FTR come July 15th on Collision where they face a very special challenge for their AEW Tag Team Championship.

The July 15th edition of AEW Collision will emanate from the historic Calgary Saddledome as part of the celebrations during the world-renowned Calgary Stampede.

A huge AEW Tag Team Championship match has now been set for that show following the events of Collision in Regina, Saskatchewan as champions FTR collided with Bullet Club Gold’s Juice Robinson and Jay White.

In the title eliminator contest, Juice Robinson managed to pick up the win for his team after dropping Dax Harwood with an inverted DDT. After the bout, Cash Wheeler and Harwood were being interviewed backstage when White and Robinson confronted them with Switchblade challenging the champions to a two-out-of-three-falls match for the AEW Tag Team Championship with FTR accepting the match.

This will be only FTR’s second title defense in their second reign as champions which began when they defeated The Gunns for the gold back in April 2023.

Also on the 15th of July Collision show, the finals of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will take place with CM Punk set to face Ricky Starks in the final of the men’s competition.
