How Brandi Rhodes Reacted To Cody Rhodes’ Angry WWE SmackDown Promo

Cody Rhodes was fired up on WWE SmackDown, and his wife had an interesting reaction to it.

At WWE Survivor Series, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be on the babyface team in the Men’s WarGames match. Cody will team up with the World Champion CM Punk, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and the man whom Cody faced in three WrestleMania matches over two years, Roman Reigns.

Those five men will team up against Paul Heyman’s team, consisting of The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Logan Paul, along with Drew McIntyre and the former 10-time WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar, who has been a “Heyman Guy” for the majority of the last 23 years.

During the opening promo on WWE SmackDown in Denver, The Usos confronted Breakker, Reed, Paul and Heyman, who were in the ring. The Usos made it clear that they had backup, but when the music of Cody Rhodes hit, there was no sign of the American Nightmare.

That led to a shot of Cody’s “American Nightmare” bus, where Drew McIntyre was shown leaving it while Cody was visibly scarred and beaten up on his own bus.

McIntyre would drive off laughing moments later, while Cody wasn’t done for the night.

Bronson Reed faced Carmelo Hayes in a Last Time Is Now Tournament first-round match. Reed hit a clothesline to knock Melo out of the ring. Bron Breakker wanted to attack Melo without the referee seeing it, but The Usos showed up to stop that. The Usos went fighting into the crowd with Bron and Logan Paul. Reed sent Melo into the commentary table.

At that point, Heyman was arguing with the referee on the apron. That’s when Cody Rhodes showed up. Cody sent Reed into the ring post, and Cody gave Reed a Cross Rhodes on the floor. The referee counted out Reed, who was still on the floor. Reed got up at 9, but Reed wasn’t able to get into the ring. Carmelo Hayes won by countout.

Cody Rhodes did a promo on the SmackDown commentary table.

“Drew McIntyre, I said I was done with you, and now I don’t want to be done at all. And your friends, Bronson, you’re probably the best in that group, but you won’t figure it out until you’re looking up at the lights. Bron Breakker, where’s he at? Historically speaking, a Steiner is never better than a Rhodes. Logan Paul, get your drone up, do a flip, none of us care.

And Brock Lesnar…Brock Lesnar, don’t forget the last person who beat you here was me, and not once, but twice!

Mr. Heyman, look at me. If I learned anything from that WrestleMania photo, you’ve represented every one of those guys on screen. You know what I’ve discovered…is our relationship, you build them, and I’ll beat them. WarGames, the match beyond. It’s not just a match, it’s my damn birthright, and I’ll see you in San Diego!”

Brandi Rhodes, who is Cody’s wife, put out this tweet supporting what her husband said and suggested maybe everybody should do something like that for Thanksgiving.
