House Of Black Returns To AEW Dynamite
At long last, the House of Black is back in AEW!
Back in October, Malakai Black fueled speculation about his future by posting a video on social media that involved not only him, but also fellow House of Black members Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart. The group has been absent from AEW television in recent months, and following the team’s loss to Darby Allin, Sting, and Miro at AEW All Out, Malakai Black seemed to say goodbye to the company with a post-match bow.
However, while Black confirmed that he had asked for his release from the company, his release was not granted and according to Black’s statement on social media, he was given time off by AEW President Tony Khan to deal with a number of personal issues.
On the November 23rd episode of AEW Dynamite, Best Friends member Orange Cassidy scored a victory over Jake Hager of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Following the bout, QT Marshall and The Factory confronted Best Friends, but Marshall’s mic quickly went silent as the light went out in the arena.
When the lights came back on, Julia Hart could be seen on the entrance ramp, and her fellow House of Black members appeared in the ring to attack Best Friends, The Factory, and even members of security at ringside.

On the microphone, Malakai Black urged members of the audience to rise, saying:
“Members of the House of Black, please rise.”
Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Thunder Rosa had been forced to relinquish her championship due to injury and that former interim champion Jamie Hayter was now recognized as the official AEW Women’s World Champion.
