Giulia Finally Makes WWE Debut

Giulia

WWE fans have been waiting for months now but their patience has been rewarded as Giulia has finally arrived in the company.

Giulia might have signed with WWE back in April, but fans have had to wait for her to show up ready to fight with only a brief appearance over WrestleMania weekend indicating that she was heading to the company.

Despite that move, Giulia has been in action for the new Marigold promotion in Japan founded by ex-Stardom boss Rossy Ogawa as she helped get the startup company off the ground. But now it seems at long last, she is WWE-bound.

At a Margiold show back in July, Giulia told the fans in attendance that her final match in Japan would take place on August 18th and then she’s heading to WWE. And at NXT No Mercy in Denver, she finally arrived.

Giulia Eyes Up NXT Championship

No Mercy saw Roxanne Perez defend the NXT Women’s Championship for the 7th time in her second reign as champion against Jaida Parker. Perez proved to be the best the NXT women’s division had to offer as she picked up the win but the real headlines were made after the match.

The lights went out in the arena and as unfamiliar music played, it soon became clear that Giulia had finally arrived in WWE. Giulia confronted the champion in a staredown as Perez defiantly raised her title in her newest rival’s face.

No Mercy saw Joe Hendry challenge for the NXT Championship against Ethan Page but ultimately it was not to be for the TNA star as Page retained his title with former champion Trick Williams counting the pinfall as the special guest referee.
