Huge Update On Future Of Roman Reigns As Champion
A new report has shed light on the future of Roman Reigns as WWE Universal Champion as his reign at the top surges past two years.
Roman Reigns has been on one of the best runs in WWE history since he returned to the company after a short hiatus at SummerSlam 2020. A new, never before seen Reigns emerged in the company as he partnered up with Paul Heyman and captured the Universal Championship a week after his return.
Ever since The Tribal Chief has stood tall as champion on SmackDown defeating all comers that have challenged for his crown. At WrestleMania 38 Roman Reigns only added to his legacy as he defeated Brock Lesnar in a Winner-Take-All Title Unification match to become WWE Champion as well.
Following Reigns’ huge victory over Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, WrestlingNews.co has reported an update on Reigns’ future as champion. According to the report, there are “still no plans” for Roman Reigns to lose his Unified WWE Universal Championship in 2022.
The next time he is likely to defend his belts will be at the Crown Jewel event held in Saudi Arabia in November. Roman Reigns will not be at the Extreme Rules event in Philadelphia in October where the star power for that event will be helped by Ronda Rousey challenging once again for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan.
