FTR will put their gold on the line at AEW WrestleDream.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were in action on Collision when they put their AEW Tag Team Championship on the line against the Iron Savages. FTR managed to retain their gold but their WrestleDream challengers were in action later in the night.
Aussie Open picked up a very quick win on the show against PB Smooth and Wes Barkley before issuing a challenge to the AEW Tag Team Champions. The United Empire team told Harwood and Wheeler that they wanted a match at WrestleDream whether the AEW Tag Team Championship was on the line or not. It was noted by the team that the match would take place exactly one year after their critically acclaimed bout at NJPW Royal Quest II when FTR picked up the win.
The titles are likely to be on the line at the event should the champions manage to get through their Collision open challenges unscathed. The Workhorsemen will be Harwood and Wheeler’s next challengers on the 23rd of September.
Who will Aussie Open and FTR share the card with at WrestleDream?
