FTR Recall Plotting To “Beat The Sh*t” Out Of WWE Producer
FTR have spoken about a time when they waited for a WWE producer after a day’s filming because they planned to “beat the sh*t” out of him.
Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood teamed together in WWE from 2014 until 2020. During that time, the duo became the company’s first-ever Triple Crown Tag Team Champions, having captured gold on NXT, Raw, and SmackDown.
However, it was in NXT where they enjoyed their strongest run, taking part in feuds against the likes of American Alpha and Enzo and Big Cass.
On the December 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite, FTR teamed with MJF to face CM Punk, Darby Allin, and Sting at the Greensboro Coliseum. During an appearance to promote the show on Elite POV, they spoke about the last time that they appeared at the venue, during which they planned to beat up an unnamed WWE producer.
“We were in Greensboro and I walked by this area and I remember, ‘Oh, this is the room where a producer in WWE said something to Cash’ and he got so mad and he came to me and was like, ‘I’m going to fight this guy.’ I said, ‘Alright, let’s do it.’ We both waited and when we got done filming, we were going to beat the shit out of him. He kept filming forever and we were like, ‘Ah, whatever,’” said Dax.
Cash Wheeler added that they waited for 30 minutes, but the producer kept himself busy to avoid running into them.
“We waited for like 30 minutes. I was determined.
He was purposely trying to stay as busy as possible. He knew I was going to kill him.”
During the Holiday Bash episode of Dynamite, FTR and MJF were on the losing end of their contest, with Dax Harwood receiving both a GTS from CM Punk and a Scorpion Death Drop from Sting before being pinned.
