FTR Mention Tony Khan After NJPW Royal Quest: “We Still Work For You…Book Us, Brother”

FTR Dax Harwood Cash Wheeler ROH Tag Team Champions

FTR delivered another incredible match at a recent show where they followed up with a promo wanting AEW’s Tony Khan to book them in more matches.

The tag team known as FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) arrived in AEW in June 2020 after a successful run in WWE. During their WWE careers as The Revival, they did all you could do in that company because they were the NXT Tag Team Champions as well as Raw & Smackdown Tag Team Champions on the main roster. They turned down a lot of money to leave WWE and seek new opportunities.

During their run in AEW, FTR were heels for most of the time, but they have become beloved babyfaces in the last few months due to the respect they have earned from fans who appreciate just how talented they are in the ring. Currently, FTR holds Tag Team Titles for Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling (IWGP Tag Team Titles and AAA in Mexico.

Even though FTR are former AEW Tag Team Champions and the number one tag team in the company’s rankings for the past six months, they haven’t had a standard two-on-two tag team match in an AEW ring since May.

FTR defended their IWGP Tag Team Titles against Aussie Open at NJPW Royal Quest II with fans calling it another awesome match. During a post-match promo, Harwood thanked the crowd and talked about how great it was to be in the UK again after the pandemic the last few years. Harwood also addressed his AEW boss Tony Khan:

“Tony Khan, we still work for you. Book us, brother.”

After mentioning Khan, Harwood also praised Aussie Open for being a tag team of the future and being one of the best tag teams in wrestling today.

At AEW’s last pay-per-view All Out on September 4th, FTR teamed with Wardlow to defeat Jay Lethal and the Motor City Machine Guns. There has been some trash talk between FTR and Gunn Club on AEW TV recently, so that should lead to a match soon.
