Former WWE Star Puts A Stop To Return Rumours

Triple H WWE

A former WWE Superstar has indicated that they are unsure if they would ever return to the company despite many other wrestlers recently doing exactly that.

Following what turned out to be the short-lived retirement of Vince McMahon in July 2022 and the ascension of Triple H to the Chief Content Officer in WWE, the company began to bring back many former stars that had either been released or had let their contracts expire.

Dakota Kai, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Dexter Lumis, Braun Strowman, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Emma, and Bray Wyatt are among those to have made their comeback to WWE under Triple H, but now one former star has indicated that they are unsure they’d ever follow suit.

Former IMPACT Wrestling star Taya Valkyrie joined WWE in early 2021, making her debut as Franky Monet on the NXT brand in April. Despite big things being expected for the star she only wrestled six times in her WWE career before being released late in 2021.

Now speaking during a K&S Wrestlefest signing, Taya Valkyrie has indicated that she’s unsure she’d ever want to return to WWE:

“I don’t know. I don’t if I would want to go back. I was fired at the worst time in human history, unfortunately. I worked very hard to get there and I continued to prove myself over and over again, especially this last year. I don’t know. I’m in a good place, I’m working everywhere, making lots of money, being happy, mentally and physically good. Who knows.”

However, the star seemed happier when discussing a possible future in AEW:

“I’m here, hey! Who knows. Especially the last few years (wrestling has been unpredictable), you never know.”
