Former WWE Star Thinks Misconduct Allegations Are “Tip Of The Iceberg”
A former WWE Superstar has claimed that the allegations levelled at former Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis could just be the “tip of the iceberg.”
While Vince McMahon has hogged the headlines since news emerged that he was being investigated by WWE’s Board of Directors, leading to his subsequent retirement, John Laurinaitis was also implicated in claims that have led to him leaving his role as WWE Head of Talent Relations for the second time.
The allegations against Laurinaitis relate to a “$1.5 million nondisclosure agreement reached in 2012 with an employee.” That timeframe coincides with when John Laurinaitis left his role as talent relations chief the first time around. Laurinaitis is also alleged to have demoted the employee after she ended their affair.
Speaking on his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree suggested that there more stories he had heard about John Laurinaitis that have yet to be made public:
“The stories that I know, that I’m not going to say publicly because I could get in trouble, this is just the f*cking tiny little tip of the iceberg, [compared to] the sh*t that I know of. So imagine the other sh*t that’s out there.”
