Former WWE Star Currently A “Free Wheelin’, Free Dealin’ Agent”

WWE Tag Team Match Money In The Bank 2016

Former WWE star Aiden English – better known as IMPACT Wrestling’s Mattew Rehwoldt appears to be considering his future as he reveals that he’s a free agent.

As Aiden English, the star found success in WWE first as one-half of The Vaudevillains in NXT where he held the NXT Tag Team Championship with Simon Gotch and then as partner to Rusev during The Bulgarian Brute’s Rusev Day phase.

Since leaving WWE in 2020, the Chicago native has competed in both IMPACT Wrestling and NJPW STRONG before finding himself working at the commentary table for both companies.

Appearing on Developmentally Speaking, Matt Rehwoldt noted that he’s currently exploring his options even beyond wrestling as he is a free agent:

“I mean, I’m trying to do a little bit of everything. I’m taking advantage of this moment. Obviously, I do commentary for IMPACT Wrestling as well as New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

“A couple of independents here like B.R.C.W. based out of here in Florida and a few others here and I would be remiss if I didn’t say Wrestling REVOLVER, Sami Callihan’s home promotion which is really, really cool if you haven’t checked that out.

“Usually runs in places like Ohio and Iowa but really badass promotion. So I do those but I am a free wheelin’, free dealin’ agent. I am not tied down anywhere so I’m also using this opportunity to explore other passions, stuff outside of wrestling.”
