Former WWE Champion Makes Huge Return At Royal Rumble

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi has brought the glow back to WWE at the Royal Rumble.

Naomi and Sasha Banks infamously walked out of WWE back in May 2022 having grown increasingly frustrated with the company. Since then, Naomi reinvented herself as Trinity having a successful spell in TNA where she won the promotion’s Knockout Championship.

Banks is now best known as Mercedes Mone and since her WWE exit, Mone has captured the IWGP Women’s Title but she has been sidelined for months with an injury. There looks to be no return for her as WWE has indicated that Mercedes Mone has already signed elsewhere.

Naomi Feels The Glow In WWE Women’s Royal Rumble

It was widely expected that Naomi would return to WWE at the Royal Rumble and that proved to be the case as she drew the number two slot in the match, kicking off proceedings with Natalya. The star left fans in no doubt that she had returned to her WWE moniker with “Naomi” coloured in her hair and she emerged to her old WWE theme song.

It remains to be seen which WWE brand Naomi will be part of going forward now she is back in the promotion.
