Unseen Heartbreaking Footage Of Jey Uso At WWE SNME Emerges

Jey Uso

Jey Uso failed to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

Ever since losing the title to Gunther in June 2025, Uso has been on a quest to prove himself and reclaim the title. But all his efforts went down the drain once again when CM Punk beat him to become the new champion at SNME. After the victory, Punk was seen celebrating inside the ring with the title. After a while, he went ringside and met with popular celebrity Post Malone, who was sitting in the crowd section.

While Punk was on cloud nine, Jey Uso’s condition was not so good. A fan camera caught Uso sitting in the corner outside the ring, leaning against the barricade, looking all lost and dejected. Pain and frustration were oozing out of him as he struggled to take off his kneepads.

Another footage captured The YEET Master leaving the ringside and going back backstage with some help from the referee, but he mostly managed to walk on his own. Uso commented on his loss against Punk through a heartbreaking tweet on X. His tweet was also full of disappointment and frustration.

Jim Cornette Wanted More From The Jey Uso-CM Punk Rivalry

Speaking on a recent episode of the Drive Thru podcast, Jim Cornette stated he felt Jey Uso and CM Punk’s rivalry was missing something, the something being a heel factor. Both Uso and Punk were babyfaces, and Cornette felt WWE could’ve done a better job by adding more animosity and heat between them.

They think that they’re doing something similar to the long Bloodline saga with this offshoot. It’s a deal of Jey, Jimmy, their interaction, and Roman’s influence on Jey. Punk is best when he’s able to cut a promo on somebody and really team him down and get into the issue. He can’t be a prick here because he’s a babyface, and so is Jey. Punk does a good promo regardless. But I want to see a mixed tag level of animosity, or the Punk-Drew or the Punk and Rollins level of animosity.
