First Look At The Rock’s Latest Movie

The Rock is back in a popular role.

Production recently began on the third and final movie in the JUMANJI franchise in Los Angeles. The new film is tentatively titled “Cross Platform” and is currently scheduled for a Christmas 2026 release.

The Rock plays Dr. Smolder Bravestone in the franchise alongside Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan. The quartet took up the roles for “Welcome To The Jungle” in 2017, before following up with “The Next Level” two years later.

The Rock Set For Major Award

Meanwhile, according to a new report, The Rock is set to be honoured at the 8th American Black Film Festival in February 2026. As noted in the report, he’ll receive the Entertainment Icon Award for his contributions to the entertainment industry.

The news comes after Natalya called for The Rock to win an Oscar for his performance in The Smashing Machine earlier in the year. The former Women’s Champion said that his performance was powerful, yet vulnerable, something which marked a serious departure from his previous work.
